A little about me.
I’m a Yuggera Ugarapul man from Inala, now working in teaching and Aboriginal health research.
From Inala
I grew up in Inala and went to Glenala State High School. School and community were where my interest in science and medicine began.
Inala remains an important part of how I understand the work I do and the people I work with.
Study and work
I studied biomedical science and then medicine at UQ. Alongside study, I became involved in student representation and developed an interest in how medicine is taught.
I later moved towards medical education and research, completing a Master of Medical Studies in 2026. My work now includes teaching and First Nations health research at UQ.
Working with others
My experience also includes the board of Inala Wangarra, student support, and systems and research work in an Aboriginal-led organisation.
